Dr. Stephen Colodny trained at New York Medical College, and then took his internal medicine internship and residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts before taking his infectious disease fellowship at Yale New-Haven Hospital. He joined the practice immediately following his fellowship in 1986. Doctor Colodny is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
JEFFREY S. BURKET, M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Burket trained at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and then completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the Medical Center of Delaware prior to taking his infectious disease fellowship at the University of Michigan. He joined our practice in 1999 after spending two years in private practice in Newport News, Virginia. Doctor Burket is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
ADETOUN O. OLAOYE, M.D.
Dr. Adetoun Olaoye received her medical degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University’s College of Health Sciences in Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Doctor Olaoye completed her internal medicine internship and residency at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania, before taking her infectious disease fellowship at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center (Penn State University). She joined the practice immediately following her fellowship in 2011. Doctor Olaoye is board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-eligible in Infectious Diseases.
CHRISTINA M. WELC, D.O.
Dr. Christina Welc trained at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. Doctor Welc then completed her internal medicine internship and residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital prior to taking her infectious disease fellowship at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. She joined the practice immediately following her fellowship in 2011. Doctor Welc is board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-eligible in Infectious Diseases.
CHRISTINE E. KENNEDY, PA-C
Christine Kennedy graduated from the Mercy School of Nursing and later received her certification as a critical care registered nurse (CCRN). She has over 15 years of experience as an ICU/Trauma nurse, having worked at Mercy, McKeesport, and Westmoreland Regional Hospitals. Christine obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree and Physician Assistant Certificate at Seton-Hill University in Greensburg. She joined the practice following her graduation in 2003. Christine is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
